Check out this site and all these turbo vettes. These manifolds could easily be adapted to our cars

Actually callaway custom built those manifolds for the turbos on the C4's.
Using the stock C4 vette exhuast (which looks like block hugger shorty headers for hot rods) would put the turbo too far forward and would not fit under the chassis, not to mention they would be too far down under the car and would scrape on everything.
The manifolds callaway built look like a straigh tube running parallel to the ground, gradually getting bigger in diameter as it goes from the front of the block to the back of the block. Then they bend down and stop.
the manifolds are $1800 each, they are stainless, and I checked it out to put them on my 90 vette. problem is there is no room down there to run a decent sized turbo on the vette. I would have to cut the frame up.

Bill, where can you get those manifolds for $1800?I called to Peter Callaway and he said they rarely make those for previous owners of the tt vettes. And Maybe they can make them, but by the tone of his letter,I took it as they only make them for owners of the actual tt cars.Nice guy though.
