water injection

looking for a good compact pump to install on my existing system--paxtons windshield washer kit.is there anything availible that dosent cost over 150 that will work well?

i too would be interested in a better system than the windshield pump....i have started mixing methanol and water instead of alcohol....but would like more information on benefits of aftermarket water injection...also, where to get the best price on this system...

Axle/Gears: 7.5" Auburn 4.10 Posi-Traction
you can get a good universal replacement windshield washer pump (Roberk), at Wal-mart. Run the two in series in line and it will double the output pressure. The more the pressure the finer the spray. This will aid in vaporization of the water/methanol and absorb more heat. (reduce detonation).
You may now need to resize the jet to get the best flow.

Someone the other day suggested a ford Fuel pump for trucks. I guess that they are external & are relatively cheap. the only issue is the alcohol tearing them up.

I have heard of people running them too, but the alky does eventually tear it up...not something I want happening when I am depending on it for detonation supression

I really like the one that mikel has, that is pretty slick.

I though though if this was a race car & only run several times a year that the ford pump would likely last several seasons. On a street car though, prolly not the brightest idea.
