My girlfriend's good friend is opening a performance speed shop. I think it opens this week actually. I'm having her check to see if he can get it discount. I'm sure if I ordered 3 kits, we would all get them much cheaper. I plan on buying part# 20214 (tpi) with the gen-x II pack. So far, the cheapest I found 20214 is $475... the cheapest I found the gen-x II pack was $350. I think the gen-x I pack goes for $300. I've done a lot of reading up on this. It seems NX is the best system installed properly.

the gen-x II includes fully automatic bottle heater... which operates on pressure rather than temperature(much more effective), nitrous pressure gauge, fuel pressure safety switch, NHRA blow down tube and fitting, and a purge valve. the gen-x I is the same minus the purge valve which i believe to be essential.

ohh sheet...those are dry kits!?!?!? I want a wet kit like the plate style NOS one. The way my CAI is set up, I HAVE to go w/ a plate

all NX kits are a wet system. the reason nx is better in my opinion is because the fogger nozzle mounts in front of the throttle body in the boot dispersing a more equivalent amount of nitrous to all eight cylinders where as the plate system by NOS hits the first 2 cylinders harder than the rest (not good). the difference between a wet and dry system is whether or not fuel is added while spraying which is increased through solenoids. yes, the NX kit taps into fuel supply therefore being a "wet" system.

I'm thinking about getting this kit for x-mas, b/c $489 isn't bad, but what would I need to be safe???
What else should i buy with this kit and how much is it? b/c i'm most likely getting it SOON

Maybe, if the price is right. I have a TBI engine though (part #20218).
