were to put o2 sensor on tubo car??

for all u turbo guys were did u guys put ut o2 sensors,i mounted mine about 3 inches away from the turbo outlet,and im having a hard time getting a stable reading.Would i be better off with the o2 on the inlet side of the turbo rather then the downpipe?

I think its too close to the turbo. I would put it back a little further.

If you put it before the turbo then it will see too much pressure and not read correctly. So don't do that.

I am guessing that you have a stock 1-wire O2 sensor. Due to it being away from a heat source to be in the active range it is cooling off and not reading properly (output justs wiggles a little). It does not do full swings.
That is what happens when they don't have enough heat. A 3-wire would solve the problem and is recommended.

That is all assuming that the O2 sensor is good to begin with. Check to see if the output is swinging after a good run that heats the downpipe. If it is swinging then it shows the O2 sensor is good and you need a 3-wire sensor.

thnx man im gonna go out and get a 3 wire 02 today,did some more reading up on it,and it seems many ppl have had the same symptoms i have when using a 1 wire o2.hopefully switching to a heated o2 will help.
