hi all could any one recomend a supercharer kit that does not need to run an ic , i dont want to change my hood its a 5.7 tpi gta im looking for around 300 hp mark if possible, what can the engine take power wise with stock internals

 

err, don't take this the wrong way but if your power goals are in the 300 range (even 300rwhp) I would probably end up just taking the money and spending it on engine work. I'm not trying to discourage you from a supercharger, just saying that you'll probably make more power then you think. You can probably get there for half the price of a S/C if all you're looking for is 300 N/A HP.
Then again, an L98 should be able to take quite a bit more then that, provided you can tune it. Keep in mind that people spray a 150 shot on L98s all the time, which means that even with a stock 245hp L98 you'd be near 400 at the flywheel.
