Garrett T6 exhaust outlet flange
Anyone know a good source for a Garrett T6 TV81xx exhaust outlet flange? Or even better, a part number or website?
I tried the local diesel shops but the problem is that the unit I have came off of a Detroit Diesel and the factory exhaust outlet is a cast iron piece. I am looking for a 14-16 gauge piece that I can weld to the 5" downpipe.
I got the correct 5.25" V-band clamp from busandtrucksclamps on the web and the clamp fits properly. I came across one site that has the 5" flange and clamp for $60+. It is a machined piece. I think young's performance or boostedsystems had them. The boostedsystems site seems all messed up now.
It appears that CAT used the TV81xx units also. My next search at the local shops will be for the CAT outlet flange.
Searched the web high and low and still can't find a supplier. I am all ears. At worst I guess I can make the flange myself, but it would be nice to get 14-16 gauge outlet
Thanks

You might want to try these guys:
Turbo Turbos and Turbochargers- For all your turbo needs
Don't know specifically about yours but I got my T4 undivided steel turbo inlet gaskets from them.

I got a bunch of T3 stuff from them and they are very nice to deal with. Unfortunately, they don't do the large frame T6 stuff. Mostly diesel shops and the big dollar race shops do the the large frame turbos.
I am going to try finding the Mack and Catapillar engine numbers for the TV81xx series and see if I can find something using that info at the local shops. I probably have about 5 hours searching boards and the web for an internet supplier and it looks like the two shops I listed are the only ones that carry the flange. One last try at the local shops and them I will fire up the torch.

I think I found it. I came across the Walker Heavy Duty catalog and it has the outlet flange ($32) and V-band clamp ($16) listed. RockAuto.com has them listed for those prices.
I already paid $25 for the Clampco clamp from a diesel shop. It seems that RockAuto.com is a better place to shop for diesel turbo parts.
