Do I need to switch to head studs?
I'm currently running a 150 shot of nitrous but will soon be moving up to a 200 or 250. I keep hearing about guys using head studs on motors with big shots nitrous or high compression motors. I'm wondering if a 200 or 250 shot is enough to warrant switching over to from head bolts to a set of ARP head studs? I'm running 10:1 compression and pushing an estimated 425 at the crank without the nitrous.

Are you running the stock heads bolts right now or do you already have the upgraded arp bolts? I always feel that the better the bolt just means the more insurance for yourself when you running it that hard. Some people might not agree and think it will be fine.

Upgrade from stock but not arp. Some brand my buddy had laying around he never got to use. I figured if I was going to buy arp I may as well go straight to studs.
