Help: Vacuum lines for BOV and WG

Got a question for you guys.

My wastegate has a Vacuum nipple and a Boost nipple. I hooked the Boost one up to the charge pipe so Im sure thats right, and I have the vacuum hooked up to the intake pipe before the turbo, is that correct?

Then on my BOV there is a vacuum nipple, should this be hooked up to the intake pipe before the turbo or to the plenum of the TPI?

Thanks,

Matt

BOV should be hooked up to the plenum of the intake. Just a straight hookup.

As for your wastegate, Ive only hooked up 1 side. Just hook up the charge pipe to it and see which one gives you correct boost. One wont.

The nipple welded onto the charge pipe goes to the side port on the wastegate.

Also remember the 9-13 spring was in the wastegate and it was tightened to pull on the upper scale..

The BOV was hooked to a port on the side of the Throttle body.

If you want to run the PCV it needs to be ran from the PCV valve to the suction of the turbo.

Your just about to have some fun arent you lol

Hey, I changed the spring over to the 5-7 spring and loosened the allen key out to 5psi. I have the boost side of the wastegate hooked up correctly, but what about the other nipple on the wastegate labeled Vacuum? Did you leave that disconnected?

Ill have to reconnect the BOV to the plenum as right now I have it hooked up to the turbo suction.

I welded a bung into the turbo intake pipe and am running the PCV that way with a breather on the pass side, seems to be working great... car sounds awesome.

The top port of the wastegate is used if you have a boost controller, which is a bad idea when learning to play with turbo's....just leave the top port vented to the atmosphere.
