what turbo should i use
i am now taking a remote mount turbo setup into consideration... what type/size of turbo should i use if i only want to run somewhere in the ballpark of 5-6psi? Id have the turbo mounted back right before the muffler, or right at the end of the y-pipe... depending on which one would be easier to cover up from water splashing on it
also, with a high output fuel pump, and 42lb injectors what else would i need to do to my TPI in order to run 5-6psi on it? would it be safe to run a turbo without a A/F monitor?

I think the sts kit has a 58mm turbo ( NOT SURE SO.....) All the stuff I read says you should get a wideband o2 ... Also how are you planning on tuneing it ?

i was just going to slap a tiny turbo on there and generate a little bit of boost, nothing too extreme. i figured as long as my fuel pressure was constant... everything would be gravy?

the standard fuel pressure regulator does not compensate for boost, so you'll need a boost referenced regulator. Grab a walbro 340 fuel pump and hotwire kit. 1st link is the hot wire kit, 2nd the pump. You can get them other places as well, just an example.

It will be enough for what you intend, also it's plug and play since it's made for the fbody. you will need a new prom as well, it may live with just the increase in fuel pressure, but that is a sure fire way to blow head gaskets. you can also get a wideband fairly cheap nowadays, but again it's not needed. Set it up, take it to a shop that has a wideband. get some data and have a chip burnt accordingly.
