TPI -> Weiand 144
Ok,
the way things are going in my life right now this is the easiest/cheapest way for me to do any modifications to the intake system... the current intake setup i have is very crappy... huge injectors, and 100% stock tpi.
(i already read the tech article about this i would like some extra help though)
this is what i have come up with so far to do a swap from tpi to the supercharger (jegs part numbers)
Mallory Racing Regulator : MAA-4309 : $75.99
Weiand 144 Low Profile Pro-Street Supercharger Kit : 925-7740-1 : $1709.99
TCI 700R4 Torque Converter Lock-up Kit: 890-376600 : $76.99
What distributor do i need? What carburator should i use?
i already have a MSD 6A ignition and a MSD coil
and would my current 212/218 .440/.454 110*lsa be a camshaft that i could leave in the motor with this supercharger?
and do i have to run a wideband o2 on it

wideband shouldnt be needed if you are carbed... widebands are for boosted engines that use fuel injection that need basemaps to run properly. im going turbo with a carb in my soon to be built 383 stroker TA. i wont need any wideband o2 sensor. i plan to use a air/fuel ratio guage though, but i should be able to get away using a stock o2 sensor for that since it would technically still be a narrowband motor like for emissions and crap...

wideband is always reccommended over regular a/f guages, its more accurate and can help tune the car to run alot better. but its note necessary. as far as carbs, you shouldnt need much more than a holley 600 or 650 for it. I believe just a regular HEI distrubutor will work. that cam should be fine, but you could get a new cam to help make the most power and efficiency out of the blower.

I think a holley 600 would be dismally undersized for a blown 383. Look at an 800cfm or so.
That cam would work, but would keep you at a low powerband. I'd look at a substantially bigger one. A blower tames your cam, just keep it with a large LSA, and a split pattern, perferably a blower cam.
