Turboing a TBI 357

Well i have a TBI 357 and was thinkin of going the turbo route. But from looking at everyone's pics,i haven't seen any TBI cars with a turbo.Only TPI and carbed.I kno TBI is kinda close to carbed applications by design but i haven't seen any turbo TBI v8's.and the ones that were v8's were runnin blown.so i was wondering if turboing my 357 TBI could be done or if i should just go another way with this project i had in mind.Plz lemme know.

Thanx,

Will

Re: Turboing a TBI 357

It is no problems running boost thru a TBI. The largest injectors you can buy are two 90 lb/hr, a total of 180 lb/hr. That is about the same as you get on a stock 350 TPI. You can raise fuel pressure on the TBI quite a bit but the injectors are still the limiting factor.
