Cam suggestions
I just purchased a 84 z28 H.O. (L69) T-5, 3.73's all that fun stuff. I'm getting ready to purchase a holly 600cfm carb, and currently own a Edelbrock peformer rpm intake (borrowing it from my built 350). Was wondering what would be a good cam for this combo, keep in mind this is my ever day car. I'm not really looking for anything that will require chip burnt either due to I have no clue who would do that type of work around here (Huntington, WV), I figure i'll run the 305 to death before swappin the 350 in seeing as how the 305 has 96k on it. Any suggestions?

Re: Cam suggestions
Uh yea, but in a more reasonable suggestion...
Try the compxe 256, it's a winner in a 305. Since you have the L69, with the slightly better exhaust, and you have a better intake manifold, 5 speed, and 3.73 gears, there isn't much holding you back from having some real fun. I think a compxe262 would be quite nice - and still very driveable (daily).

Or the NX262H (comp nitrous HP) http://store.summitracing.com/partde...4&autoview=sku is a great cam off the spray, and if you decide you want more power you can add a nitrous kit and maximize the numbers too. Thread
