Im thinking about saving for one of these for a future motor build. I just would like to get some more information on this supercharger. So if you have one or know someone that has one, I would love to hear about the experiences with it. Good or bad. I need to know if its worth the money.

Re: Weiand 142
I rebuilt my 305 into a 311 a few years ago and recently topped it with one of those 142 smog-legal EGR blowers. I also have SLP smog legal headers.
The blower woke up that rebuilt motor.
The sinister whir at cruise is fantastic and when you romp on it...
ZZZZZZZTTTTT MPH soars!
I highly recommend this kit, but be prepared to cut a hole in your hood or add a cowl scoop, your carb will be some 4 1/2" higher.
I had to do some grinding on the supplied thermostat housing to get it to clear the blower snout too, but all in all it is a lot of bang for the buck!
