Drivers side down pipe
Drivers side down pipe
Can you guys help me out? I am looking for some pics of the drivers side down pipe on a twin turbo setup. I'm in the designing stage of fabricating some log style headers and I am having a rough time figuring out what I am going to do about the down pipe on the drivers side. I already figure I am going to have to relocate the prop valve and the oil pressure sender, but I still don't think that's enough.

Re: Drivers side down pipe
From looking at my own car, looks like the prop valve has to go and maybe a slight dent behind the header and I should be fine. I don't have a bulky oil pressure switch so I can't help you there.

Re: Drivers side down pipe
89JYturbo had some pics of a twin setup with log manifolds around here somewhere. He had Volvo T3s so the outlet was 2.25". I am not sure if he ran 2.25" DPs or stepped them up to 2.5". A search for his username should bring up the pics. He had pics both in and out of the car.
Re: Drivers side down pipe
I've seen his and he is using modified stock manifolds. I am going to be using some custom tube headers. His hug the head a little tighter than mine will.
