was looking around ebay and found these twin turbo headers ..

would they work on our f-body tpi camaros ..

what is a "rough" list of other parts to complete a twin turbo setup

man it seems like this question gets answered every day. ok, ill be nice and not yell FOR NOT USING SEARCH!

those will work, for a while, if you support the turbo, otherwise the heat will turn them into a leaking piece of junk.

now for the list of parts
wastegates
blow off valves, oil lines, fittings, etc
lots of tubing
intercooler?
water methane? depends on what u want to run
v band clamps
downpipe
o2 sensor (preferably wideband, but if ur broke, or cheap, or a gambler, us a narrow band like me about a fifth of the cost)
boost gauge
a complete fuel system overhaul, boost referenced
a prom, injectors
or a blowthru prepped carb
and a pile of money for everythingi forgot, or that u need as u build it.

 

yea .. i tried using the search but nothing came up .. guess it wasnt working for a second or something ..

i looked around a few pages and found a couple more of these types of questions .. saw they make a "kit" with these headers for $1000

how much of a gain could i expect with a twin turbo setup on my 305 tpi ..

i just built the motor with summit racing vortec heads, comp 501 cam, edelbrock hi flow intake, hooker 2055 headers, flat top pistons (but my c/r is about 9:1 b/c of bigger heads), and a complete rebuild / machining crank, etc

right now im thinking it would just be easier to slap on a supercharger kit which is $5000 for the good ones (cheaper ones only support 6 psi on "stock" motor)

but a twin turbo setup is just so damn tempting ..

anyone got an approximate idea of how much it would cost .. found one guy who has over $8K in his and still isnt done ..

 

no those will mount the turbos through the hood, they are too tall.

 

If you want to place the turbos there buy a set of used corvette C4 stock headers and weld a new flange to them, they will be lower.
