nos how much

hey i have an 86 iroc with a fearly new 350 ho crate motor 320 horse out the box im running a holley 600cfm carb im going to get a nos kit and its a wet shot would a 150 shot be ok to run or is it to much or is it safe to run at the tracks on the weekends and last me awhile motor has 5k on it just broke in

150 with a good conservative tune will last as long as you dont overrev the car and/or spray it all the time. Those interals are cast/hypereutectic so they can handle 400-450hp on motor, some maybe 500. so a 150 shot should put you at the limits.

Spray at the track and occasionally on weekends and dont spray for LONG periods of time and it should be fine.

Safer bet is a 100shot. still plenty of kick

thanks ya im just looking to suck up some **** tailking mustangs just planning on using it once a month how should i tune it

pull 4-6 degrees of timing for a 150 shot. pull 2-4 for a hundred shot.

generally naturally aspirated motors like total timing of 34-36 degrees.

its also said that for every 50 shot, you pull 2 degrees. Some say up to 100 shot you can get away with out pulling timing. I'd pull 2 to be safe atleast.

Also run a step colder spark plug.

Nitrous timing i'd guess around 30-32 degrees total advance. You'll have to play with that to find your best timing for most power and still not detonate/ping etc. YOU DONT want that at all. 30 degrees should be fine.
