Turbo Selection ( or help me pick a hairdryer )

Hello All, i was originaly going to post this on the turbo forums but got tired of waiting for my confirmation E-mail, and you guys are more GM oriented anyway.

Here goes While it is not third gen specific I am asking for input from 3rd genr's particularly the turbo 6 guys. I am going to be doing a DIY/JY turbo system on a buick 90 degree 6 (no not a GN a 3.0 ) and had some question.

Are there any twin v6 turbo setups out there working well?
It has been mentioned to me that twins might be plagued with issues because of the fewer exhaust pulses of only 3 cylinders ( I am sceptical because of the successes i have seen with 3 cyl geo's)

Anyway my intent is to build a fairly mild system using twins and an intercooler to run this 3.0 I have sitting around it is an MPFI transverse engine and i was kinda thinking on running one of Rrob's EBL systems on it with the stock manifold and such. more of a learning tool and cut your teeth on the fab stuff. not certain what i will even put it in as a test bed.

Also as compared to looking up compressor maps on every turbo i see on E-bay ( and having no real world numbers from the engine anyway) i was hoping someone could suggest likely turbo candidates.

Thanks
Dan in Alaska

on a small 6 cyl why not just run 1 single turbo and save yourself the headache of buying double of everything?

I may end up doing just that, but I happen to like the symmetry and looks of a tt . And since I am doing it just cause i want to ... I might as well see if it can be done that way.
If there is a technical reason for doing a single thats what i will do, near as I can tell though I wont need two of everything .. one IC with two inlets one large WG gonna have to have a header on both sides of the motor regardless..... *shrug*
