anyone ever hav their pully bolt snap a procharger before?
i did a search and didn't see anything about it.
but today when i was under the hood. i happened to noticed the bolt that holds the blower pulley on was gone, then i looked closer and it has snapped clean off, flush with the shaft on the blower. the pulley its self looks like it never moved forward at all and it is missing one of the keyways. one is still there thou. i was out making pulls just last night with it set at 15lbs. i can't believe it didn't try to fly off.
i happened to find the bolt laying near my fender. odd, it seems to me that the only thing that could break the bolt off is the pulley moving forward but if so, then the pulley should have came off, or at least moved.
its an older D1 12 rib setup but has low millage and prob less than 300 since i last put it on. weird to see a grade 8 bolt snap like that.

perhaps the bolt was over torqued?

I don't think so, I don't know what the spec is but I just tightened it was a 3/8 ratchet. I would guess a grade 8 3/8s fine thread bolt could handle about 40lbs and I don't think it was that much but didn't use tq it. anyone know what procharger says the spec is?
