vacuum advance distributer?

vacuum advance distributer?

i will be running a TT set up on my 350 sbc and it will be carb with a 6AL

Can i buy a distributer with a vacuum advance or will that mess up under boost???
And would it keep advancing in boost?? because id really prefer if it would retard after 0 vac haha

A normal vacuum advance cannister won't keep retarding under boost. Once you're at 0 degrees, that's it. Years ago there were cans on the market that would, but I don't know if there still are. You could use an electronic boost retard box, though.

is it necessary to run a check valve to prevent the canister from seeing boost?
