Re: Wideband error with 110 lsa

No ideas? I'm running and tuning the car saturday. I'd like to get it as close as possible. I'm not highly skilled at checking plugs.

It shouldn't be off by much where it counts when you're making peak torque.

Re: Wideband error with 110 lsa

idle it may not read true but its hard to tell. Depends on where your sensor is mounted and how much overlap is actually in the cam itself

But at cruise or any other higher rpm, its probly reading as good as it can get. Not all cylinders will run the same air fuel anyway so its gonna get a average reguardless of how much overlap may skew the results by letting fresh air past the exhaust valve.

you should be pretty close tho and safe enough to tune it

Ok, thanks. I did notice that it idles best around 14.5:1. Which shouldn't be right.

Re: Wideband error with 110 lsa

thats not a bad spot to be. my car idles fine anywhere from 13-16 but i have it set near 15.0 for the most part.

Dont worry about idle air fuel, just give the motor what it wants to be happy. Too lean may make for hotter header temps but as long as the car is happy that is what counts.
