Re: 305 TOP END PERFORMANCE HELP

Exhaust... IMO, Headers, Mid-Pipe, Hi-Flow Cat, and Catback System help the car the most out of any mod you can do. (I mentioned all the parts of an exhaust right?)

Re: 305 TOP END PERFORMANCE HELP

Edelbrock makes good intake manifolds, that's it. Skip their cams. Heads are mediocre.
Don't get a "package". That's just marketing BS to ease their packaging, it's not really all that well designed to work together.

Start with exhaust.

Re: 305 TOP END PERFORMANCE HELP

i have full exhaust. but now i want to do engine work. im going to put a 3.73 posi rearend on it in december. i heard it is bad to just put on a new intake or just heads or just cam. you do one thing you have to do another.

Re: 305 TOP END PERFORMANCE HELP

toss the 305 if $$$ permits. But if thats a no i would build it like a 350 so when you do get a 350 block you can just swap everything over. I would stay away from the 305.
