I need alittle help on nitrous.

I have been reading alot about nitrous in the threads. But im still a little confused. So here is what i have so far. 1 cooler plugs 2 electric fuel pump 3 fuel regulator 4 nitrous plate. Can the electric fuel pump be up under the hood? What setting should the regulator be at? Which nitrous plate? Does the elec. fuel pump connect to the plate or the carb? On a different note how does the purge work on a nitrous kit?

The electric pump should always be used as a pusher not a puller. So it's better to have it close to the fuel tank. I have found that the fuel pressure to work great at around 6 psi on a NOS Cheater kit. Nitrous plate depends on the $$$ you have to work with. If money is no object then I'd get something like the zex plate that sprays around the whole perimeter. If on a budget try to find a used NOS Cheater or Powershot plate. The fuel pump will need to connect to the fuel solenoid just in front of the plate. If you plan to run one fuel pump then tee it off from the regulator to go to the carb on one side and the fuel solenoid on the other. The purge solenoid is just in front of the N2O solenoid. When you hit the purge button all you are doing is clearing out air in the line. The N2O is then ready to hit the plate without a delay from shooting air in first. Hope this helps a little.
