Nitrous Jetting Concerning Fuel Pressure

I am about to bolt in a AFPR on my TBI Camaro. Question is if fuel pressure is raised from the stock ~12psi to say ~22psi, would the fuel jet in the nitrous plate have to be swapped out for a smaller jet to ensure air/fuel mixture? Thanks.

I wouldnt think so, the nozzle only allows so much, and the solinoid does all the work anyways.

this is completely WRONG. the solenoid is simply an on off valve. do your homework on how nitrous systems work.

this is an NOS plate kit correct? if so your best bet is going to be to call or email NOS tech department and tell them what you're doing. you're going to need to go to a smaller jet spread on there to get the F/N ratio correct. but like i already said, i'd call up NOS and see what they recommend.

Yes, and a +1 for calling NOS.

kinda what i meant but explained it wrong, the solinoid clicks open to allow fuel, but wouldnt the jet only let in so much?

PS i have had a nitrous kit on my car, but took it off since its a pain filling a bottle all the time.

Re: Nitrous Jetting Concerning Fuel Pressure

it'll only let in so much, but that "so much" is increased as you increase pressure. think about a garden hose, just crack the valve open and look at how much comes out. how open it up completely, you see what i mean? this isn't a perfect analogy but it will give you an idea, the same size opening is letting a lot more through
