basic nitrous questions

hi all,

new to nitrous and i purchased a used wilson fogger setup. my question is simple.. what is the thread into and out of a nitrous and fuel solenoid? also, what is the thread of the output on a stock fuel rail? the kit was missing a few fittings... fuel line to fuel solenoid adapter, fuel solenoid to fogger feed line adapter, etc. just trying to get it all assembled. thanks everyone

Re: basic nitrous questions

I've not heard of Wilson, I just bought a new, but not in box NOS kit, they had a PDF of the instructions / partsl list on the Holley site... Check for Wilson's and see...

Re: basic nitrous questions

The threads in and out of the solenoid should be 1/8 NPT. As for the fuel rail the easiest way is to take the valve core out of the fitting for checking fuel pressure and use a -04AN to hook up to that.

Re: basic nitrous questions

CBR is right, normal solenoids (Nitrous and Fuel) have 1/8th NPT (national pipe threads). Both in and out. The schrader (sp?) valve on the TPI fuel rail is -4AN. So decore the valve and hook up a -4AN line from the valve to the solenoid (you'll need -4AN male to 1/8th NPT male fitting) on the "in". Most foggers have -3AN fittings. So you'll need a 1/8th NPT male to -3AN male and a -3AN line to the fogger....
