4bbl TB vs stock or LS style TB and elbow?
Obviously for a boosted application.
Cost/parts aren't an issue, just performance: I have a 4bbl Accel 1000cfm tb, a few stock TPI and LT1 TB's, a 58mm LT1, an LS1 style..., I also have the tools/ability to make just about any adapter that I might need, the manifold is going to be a ported victor jr that I converted to EFI. I even have both style TPS plugs on my harness so that doesn't even matter.
What would you run and why?
My instinct is that the way that most TB adapter elbows are designed they would be prone to distribution problems and therefore make a little less power, but I don't know that I've seen any hard evidence of that, and I haven't experimented with it either, but that doesn't mean that I have to follow any particular design. I'd also guess that the 4bbl mounted right to the flange would be more responsive, but I have to admit that that setup also just feels more primitive.

I went with a FAST 4bb 1375 cfm, nice piece. A few of my buddies ran vic jr's with an elbow on there LS cars and they are selling them and doing a 4bbl throttle body bc they are too restrictive. (N/A)

I agree with Jay_rich. I have a 1200 cfm accel, but mine is NA. I still plan on doing my turbo set-up but it'll take a little longer than I hoped. Another plus side about going 4bbl is the drivability and throttle response. I love it!
