Nitrous pressure guage line
Any insight to the best location for a NOS pressure guage line location? I always ran the guage on the bottle but will be switching to a hood mount guage. Half say to the solenoid and half say to the bottle.
I would rather run to the solenoid but I don't know if the pressure is high at the solenoid....Wouldn't it be exessive at the bottle?
What do you think?

Re: Nitrous pressure guage line
Pressure at the bottle shouldn't really be that much different that at the solenoid. I guess at the solenoid when you open the solenoid it might drop off more than back at the bottle, that would be my only guess for a reason.

Re: Nitrous pressure guage line
you can install the pressure Guage any place, it will read the same.
tryed diff places in the line for years (over 20 years) and can tell you.
you can install the T for the Guage anyplace you Like.
the presh stays the same, untill the bottle, starts to get to 4lbs, (starts to drop) bottle sitting 950 to 980 PSI with 10 to 5lbs in it, (temp at 70). it starts to dip, this is from lack of NOS, turn heat Up on Bottle to 75 to 80. and it stays above 900 psi. till its at 1 TO 2 lbs of NOS, Guage in line anyplace, the Big thing to do is Keep track of how many runs you get from a Bottle, doing this is works well with a Guage also, (hand in hand) knowing the time to swap out a bottle, is the Key to Getting the most out of you NOS, i have 6 bottles and 2 in the car at all times, makes swaping easy!

new seats in car,(keeps the stock seats new)

this photos shows the car hatch open, after sitting for 8 years, forgive the Dust (still brand new stock seats in car)
swaping bottles when Pressure drops is easy.(with 2 bottles) just a line swap, i run a fogger set up.
