root style s/c on 350 tpi?
hey guys im about to buy a 92 formula with a 350 tpi, and i was wondering if i was able to convert to a carb and put this kit on.

i just want to make sure the s/c will work with the stock heads and what kind of hp gain would i be looking at and do u guys think it would clear the hood

Yes it can be done. Not a chance of clearing a stock hood.

I believe they make a version that will work with the 87-up bolt pattern heads. But like was said above, not a prayer of clearing the stock hood. You have to fit the blower, the carb on top of that and a reasonably sized air cleaner. On a 3rd gen F-body that means a 4" cowl hood minimum.
