I have a 84 z28 camaro and I was wonder what would be the best turbo for the car and how much money it would cost me to buy the engine is a 305 I have a 5 speed tranny and a custome exaust on the care already I also have a corvet carb and air intake that I haven't put on yet idk if that will make any diff in horse power or not?

 

no you would have to buy a blow through carb for the turbo to work or see if you can send your carb to be built into the propper spec. and a t3/t4 turbo keep your boost no higher than 7 psi on a stock internal motor remember the bigger the turbo the longer the boost lag unless you have a built motor to back it or a shot of nitrox to wake the turbo up...........in your case unless you want to dump a tone of money into that 305, put a 100hp shot of nos !!!!less time, money, pain it the ***

*(turbo) 5lbs to 7lbs of boost is about 100hp new $2,500 turbo kit only maybe $1,000 used takes a good mec to install about 3 1/2hrs turbo kit only

dont get me wrong thoe ive seen people run 10 to 15lbs on a stock motor to but WHY and for how long will she live
ps check that vette carb the didnt come with alot of power back then
