are 24# fuel injectors gonna make my car run bad? tuned w/36#ers
I am buying a car that was dyno tuned (zz4 tpi w/procharger) with either 32 or 36# injectors. The car has been sitting for a while, and injectors have been changed to 24#ers. Is this going to make the car run like crap, or will it be fine to drive under normal conditions so long as I don't get on it hard?

If it was tuned with 36 you really need to stick with 36. 24 lb/hr injectors deliver 33% less fuel than 36 lb/hr and it wouldn't be good to do that even if it was N/A. On top of that, 24 lb/hr injectors at 80% duty cycle are only good for about 310 crank hp, which the ZZ3 should be exceeding by about 10 hp if it's a stock tpi intake. Adding a procharger to that engine running 6 psi should make over 450 crank hp. By my calculations, and assuming stock fuel pressure + boost, those 36 lb/hr injectors are just about maxed out at 450 hp. 42lb/hr would be the smallest I'd put on there.
