The last time I owned it I bought a 355 short block with flat tops and good rods/steel crank. A set of dart iron heads fully ported. Now im having the issue of deciding weather to put the brand new Vortech r-trim that was purchased for the car 11 years ago and never installed or sell it and put on a cheapo ebay turbo kit. The turbo kit sounds fun but alot of work. The run down of the car and parts I have is as follows...

Car- 1990 Pontiac GTA 63,000 miles

Engine- As listed above. Accel super ram box looking upper and accel lower. 1000 cfm TB. No cam picked yet

Trans- No trans at this time. Although I would like an OD trans in it.

Rear end- Ford 9inch with 3.55 gears


So what would the input from you guys be? My intentions for the car is to still have working A/C and cruise control. I am a little older than I was before and want the creature comforts still?

 

JMO can't go wrong with "having it" already. Do a fuel system, a Megasquirt or other tunable ECU and throw it on. Simple.

 

I forgot to add the car has an old school DFI. I no longer have the software or cable. I thought the R-trim would also no be so street friendly
