Been racing bikes for years, and the only real competition that I have on the street from a dig are other bikes. Could you imagine waiting at a stop light on your ZX-14 and this Silverado pulls up next to you. All I could say regarding this video is, damn....

 

im with you on the damn part haha. even if he had slicks i dont see how he isnt spinning, easily a 9 second truck to keep up with that bike i would think.

 

Lot of guys don't realize just how fast the ZX-14 really is, with or without the turbo I usually see ZX-14's stomping on turbo Hayabusa's all night long. That Silverado impressed the hell out of me, what a launch, and it was practically dead even all the way til the end. Very very impressive for a truck...

 

Reminds me of Flaco's 8 sec silverado...I know there are a few 9 second trucks out there but thats pretty rare. very fast truck for sure.

but if i let my old street racing side come out, bike won by as much as it needed too. it was a noticeably faster, i bet it could have gave the truck 10 straight up without the bump, in the 1/4 and won by the same.

 

They raced heads up for $4000. After seeing what I just did, there is no way I would throw anything that truck's way if I was running the bike lol. I can tell just by listening that the bike has mods, and despite the ET those things when modded trap insanely fast. Truck was hauling @ss...

 

bike was turbo, and a street race bike., which means it probably wouldn't fit into any class lol... its fast, really really fast on a asphalt start. and so was the truck. but from what i saw, turck got the hit, i could be wrong though. looked 1/8th mile to me, and the bike sounded short shifted. launched out front a few cars and stayed the same all the way thru. thats how every street race is won if it can be, only fast enough to win,

so there's a next race. all i'm saying is if i was that truck, i'd leave that bike alone and move on to something else.

Yeah a turbo bike should haul some serious *** on top end, but first 330 ft could be difficult in getting up and moving... atleast from all the bikes i seen in the 1/8 mile and beyond. I know bolt on bikes seem to be in the 160 range so a turbo should be alot faster. That truck moves out hard, but thats a short dig on a prepped track. 1/4 mile, properly raced I bet that bike moves out on him by a long margin.

 

didnt sound like a turbo bike to me.... and i know of one bike setup similar to that one that IS turbo. he traps around 150-155mph in the 1/8.

 

That is one fast truck for sure! I would have expected the bike to kill him honestly, prepped track or not. I don't know how they have that truck's suspension dialed in, but that thing didn't seem to spin at all off the line...and it took off HARD....wow!

 

Wow that truck was insane. Looked like he had some 20's for front runners too. That thing looked like it launched as hard as a pro stock diesel.

 

Holy crap! That truck is quick!

 

I think that truck would put some drag cars to shame!!!
