Procharged 88 GTA
I'm currently in the process of adding a D1SC procharger (intercooled) to my 383 GTA (looking @ running 8-10 PSI to start and hope to get up to 16-18 PSI in the long run). The 383 was built with the idea of putting a blower on it as far as cam, compression ratio and etc. I have looked through alot of pictures on the site of people adding prochargers to there "stock" motors with the TPI set up (not all, but most).
I'm doing something a little bit different (or atleast I'd like to think so, maybe I'm not), I'm going with the carb set up instead. I have a C&S 850 blow thru carb that I will be using and hoping to hear from anyone that has been down this road before. I have a couple of small hurdles to jump over at the moment as far as the install goes, but I was really looking to hear or see some pics. of carb. setups like mine.
Thanks in advance, I will post some pics in the up in coming weeks.

Re: Procharged 88 GTA
Not too bad, its good for low end power (good street intake). I will be putting the victor jr. back on for the procharhger set up. The motor is @ 8 1/2 to 1 comp., the best time I got with it was 12.93 @ 107. Who knows what it really could have ran, I smoked the transmission at a pontiac event back in October (only had 1st and reverse). Getting ready to pick up my transmission from TSI transmission in chicago this weekend.

Re: Procharged 88 GTA
Update: Just fired up the car this past saturday, wow what a difference, throttle response is 10 times better than before, which is to be expected being the motor was originally built as a blower motor. I also bought the FAST air/fuel ratio gauge with the dual sensors, haven't took it out and drove it yet, waiting for all of salt to be washed off of the roads. Still need to get the new MSD box hooked up which is boost referenced as well.
