Help me pick a turbo

Ok so I'm in the process of building a turbo set up for my 91 Camaro. The car is a 5 speed. Engine mods are as follows 305 with alu L98 heads race ported with matching intake mild cam and a Edlebrock 650 carb that I am going to retro fit for boost. The car is more of a weekend warrior than anything with the occasional trip to the drag strip basically just something fun to drive. Im not into high RPM or really high boost il probably only run 4-6 psi. I would like a turbo that's not horribly laggy but i do want it big enough to support a larger motor down the road. I like turbonetics because of the polished compressor housing but i am open to any suggestions that dont break the bank id like to keep the price of the turbo under 700 but i can spend more for something that i really need. Any input would be great so i don't waste a bunch on money on a turbo that wont suit my needs.

Under 700, and something thats definetly going to last will not happen unless you go used.

You really need something in the T60-T70 series, a true T series turbonetics

A master power, or magnum T70 is probably going to be the closest thing you can get budget wise that will work properly.

Re: Help me pick a turbo

Magnum by masterpower i think only makes 67, 72, and 76mm compressors now. 67 with ptrim .96 housing is what id run on the 305. Down the road depending on goals, it will support 500-600 whp depending. Upgrade to 72-76 for much higher numbers and get the q trim side for larger motors and higher hp goals
