Methanol kit mounting
Hey everyone
Just bought a SNOW Methanol injection kit and was wondering where everyone is mounting them. I am planning on using a small tank since I don't have a windshield resevor anymore and I know some guys are using that.
Pics would be awesome too if you have them
Thanks in advance

Re: Methanol kit mounting
diff brand but maybe helpful
used the canton tank, the coolant recovery is the smaller tank next to the radiator. the custom tank below the nose filler panel is for the wiper washer
Pump is visible also, the controller is installled in the dr. side air duct

Re: Methanol kit mounting
very sweet setup twin_turbo. I am in the process of mounting mine. I have the controller under the dash and debating on tank/pump placement now. I THINK I'm going to put the pump underneath the passenger side battery tray to hide it and the tank against the firewall since I have no HVAC, but does canton still sell that tank? That is very sweet! My overflow is mounted directly on the radiator, so that area is wide open!
EDIT: Is this the one?

Re: Methanol kit mounting
I mounted my Snow Performance 3/4gal tank on the pass. Side inner fender. Over the battery tray. The line goes down into the pump which is bolted underneath that pass. Side battery tray. I sank the bottom tank fitting into the battery tray by cutting a 1" hole roughly so the plastic sits on the tray, then I bolted it to the inner fenders with a few small bolts.
I moved my battery to the drivers side tray because my inline 6 has the starter on the drivers side..
I wouldn't mind doing a rear mount methanol tank, the long line just ads capacity!

I just ordered that 80-223 over flow tank yesterday. I'm just using it for coolant over flow...looks really nice Twin_Turbo

Putting my pump in the exact same spot. Was going to mount my tank where the HVAC used to be.
The spot where yours is, I have my catch can there
