Nitrous On/Off

Hey gang,

I am almost done with my nitrous install and what I am curious about is how the 2 stage RPM activated switch ties in with the WOT switch. I was thinking that the 2 stage switch makes the WOT switch active at like 3000 rpm's and once the throttle is wide open the micro switch then activates the nitrous and if it gets close to Rev limiter it shuts off the WOT? Am I correct in that assumption? Or does the 2 stage on portion activate the WOT switch and the Off portion of the 2 Stage get wired to the nitrous solenoid so that it shuts the nitrous off close to rev limter? Just wondering whats the best/right way to incorporate them.

Thanks for the help.

Thats a window switch i believe you are referring to. Wot switch on tb ties into window switch. Nitrous comes on when low rpm level is hit and wot. Once rpm goes above the high rpm level, window switch opens and nitrous is deactivated. Its a safety device so you dont spray when hitting the limiter like missed shift or driveshaft failure

Re: Nitrous On/Off

So what your saying is that I hook the RPM switch (or Window Switch ) to the WOT Switch and thats the correct way? Thanks for the reply.

Re: Nitrous On/Off

Yeah use it with the ground activation wire feature. Master arm power to wot switch and wot switch to solenoids. Solenoids ground to window switch
