Best TPI intake for blower ? ? ?
What are you guys running as far as intake manifolds that work well with blowers? Superram? Stock plenum/runners w/ baseplate? Miniram?
I'm looking to do a budget hotrod and would like to get good performance without mad $$$$$$s (a.k.a. superrams or minirams
Thanks for the input ! ! !

If you are on a budget you might be better off with the stock TPI intake and maybe spending your money modifying the exhaust. From what I have been told about blowers mods on the exhaust side will benefit you more than the intake since the blower will be forcing in plenty of air. Just my opinion, could be wrong.

Yes! With a blower you improve the intake breathing a lot. If you have a restrictive exhaust to begin with, it will be an even bigger restriction with the blower.
Same thing if you look at the heads. Almost all heads have a balanced intake / exhust flow for a N/A engine. To balance the flow for a supercharged application the intake should be smaller and the exhaust bigger. The air get a lot of help in, but no help out. The same thing is true for a NOS engine. To compensate for this you use a different cam instead. Compare the specs for a N/A cam and a blower / nos cam. You will find that the blower / nos cam has more lobe separation, a shorter intake duration and a longer exhaust duration.

Thanks for the tips guys. I am already planning on doing the exhaust as well as addressing other trouble spots. I was just trying to see what combos of intake parts people were having troubles with. It looks like lots of people are having good luck with the Edelbrock manifold/SLP runner combo.
I like superrams, but they are pricey. I have one that I got cheap from a friend who needed the $$$$, but I think I'm going to sell it to fund other stuff.
Thanks for the input!
