Stacking TPI nitrous plates. To do or not to do
I have several nos brand tpi nitrous plates and solenoids and was wondering if this has been done before by someone on here or if this is a good idea. My SBC is all forged internals and built for nitrous as I have a single plate on currently. But I'm thinking of adding a second stage with another plate. Any suggestions or ideas ?

it has been done with carb plates, so i would imagine it would work with the tpi plates. however, the tb will be moving foward over an inch, so some things may not work/fit anymore. i would wait and max out the first plate before stacking, and by that time you will probably be over a 200 shot... and at that point i would probably switch to a different intake. lol

Yeah my buddy did it with a carb plate intake. Up to 350 hit but never on a front tb plate.
You could get a plate to feed upwards of 200-250 hp no problem but beyond that i would look at a single plane or direct port since most front fed intakes have some level of air distribution issues

I don't know how much you want to spray, but an NX shark nozzle will spray up to 250hp each reliably if you really want a plate type setup it would be very easy to make one with a shark nozzle mounted in each bore supporting up to 500hp, well more than I can imagine anything fed with a TPI intake will take reliably.

Any distribution issues should be the same (N2O and fuel would have the same distribution) with a well designed wet shot.

I saw uneven distribution with a wet nozzle on my hsr at a 150 shot
