Car: 1987 Firebird
Engine: 2.8L V6
Transmission: 700r4
Cold air SES
so I just built a cold air intake for my 2.8 and now whenever I stop driving after 15 min it throws an engine light. But as soon as I start moving it goes away. Thoughts?

what error code are you getting?

23 and 32 but 23 I think it’s just I got rid of the sensor in the stock filter holder thing

You might try reinstalling the mat/iat .
the code 32 is for egr is that missing ?

It’s still there maybe it needs to be replaced, but then why would The light only come on when I am sitting still

Possible reasons , bad mat, wiring issue or bad ecm
trouble tree.
