I am seriously considering forced induction for some extra power. I have installed a number of Vortechs and have helped friend with other brands. I would really like to try something different. I would like to go with a turbo system for my 88 Camaro. I have only found one site with a twin turbo camaro utilizing gale banks manifolds. I was wondering if I could modify a 4th gen LT1 system to work on my car. Correct me if I am work, but aren't the exhaust ports the same? what kind of headache would I be looking at??

 

all they best systems I have seen are DIY like the one guido is building. Ive considered a similar setup using a pair of shorty nova headers turned upsidedown and reflanged for turbos. with the turbos up topside and forward or with the headers right side up but on backwards placing the turbos low and forward. Mostly my decision is based on the turbo "kits" Ive installed on other kinds of v8 cars having less horsepower (as packaged) than the supercharger "kits" with exception of TDC's cobra kit.
