Push lock boost control 4mm vs 10mm

So I want to get electronic boost control up and running thru my dominator over the winter. I've had this pneumatic air kit sitting around that I was gonna use for something else but figured it might just work for boost control.

The thing is that mine is a 4mm od kit and when I look up all the other kits from like motion raceworks and the like they all use 10mm od hose and fittings. Would there be any real difference between either or would the 4mm stuff I've currently got in a bag work just fine?? Any opinions on this would be great as I can't really find any answers. Thanks guys have fun
