Hey guys, last year I put a 3.4 in my 92 Firebird 3.1. Its a decent engine but I sometimes feel like I want more power. I'm thinking about turbocharging and still using the maf sensor for that. I read that the maf can handle up to 9 psi of boost so I was thinking about 7-8 psi, which is fine for me because I'd like to have 220 - 250 hp. I'll be using a 4th gen posi 3.23 disc rear end I already bought which I'd rather not destroy anyway.

I'm a noob when it comes to turbocharging, which turbo would be a good one for my goal? I want to use a Fiero v6 exhaust manifold and modify it to put a turbo flange on it. This means that 3 cylinders will spool the turbo.
I'm currently using the 3.4 injectors which are 17s, I'm sure that I need to get different ones right?

Then last but not least, what to do with the ecm and chip? I have a 7730 and I haven't a clue if I should keep it or use another.
Thanks for reading guys, I can't find much about stock maf turbocharging so this helps me a lot.

A 730 running MAF ? That doesn't sound right.

MAF gives some amazing drivability on the later applications (LT1, LS1) but when you introduce boost things get a little weird. MAF works ok on the suction side not so well on the charged side.
