Plumbing Turbo

Im trying to figure out the intake side of a turbo set up for a MAF car.
Does it go:

Air filter > Turbo in > Turbo out > MAF > Throttle body

AND where in there do I put the recirculating BOV?

Re: Plumbing Turbo

With that layout you wouldn't need to "need" to recirculate the BOV, if you vented between the turbo and the MAF. In anycase you would recirculate the BOV back into the inlet pipe before the turbo.

Re: Plumbing Turbo

What would happen if the MAF was before the turbo?

Re: Plumbing Turbo

I've heard that the mafs dont do too well when they're pressurized. my car isnt maf though so I know nothing more about them than what I've read. IF you put the maf before the turbo, you'd have to recirculate the air to between the maf and the turbo.

Re: Plumbing Turbo

So

Airfilter > MAF > Turbo in > Turbo out > >Recirc BOV out< > Throttle body

But where else does BOV go in at?

EDIT!

I Think I figured it out.

Airfilter > MAF > >Recirc BOV out< > Turbo in > Turbo out > >Recirc BOV in< > Throttle body

That way the air is still past the MAF and it doesn't go rich.

Re: Plumbing Turbo

You got it!

Yeah i have done a blow-through MAF, but it's a pain to tune because of the pressure and temps created after the air is compressed.
