Need to find the fuel line..
Need to find the fuel line..
Please help me find it on the 2.8 84 carbed if im not exactly sure what im looking for.
Also, let me know if i will have to take apart the black round piece that houses the air filter, the long piece that directs air into it.. should i just buy a whole lot of new hoses and stuff and start installing them?

Re: Need to find the fuel line..
there are a lot of fuel lines, what one are you looking for? if its the one from the pump to the carb, yes you have to take the air filter housing off, you should be able to find it pretty easily after that, then just trace it back to the fuel pump, which i believe is on the passengerside of the block, toward the front down low. there are fuel lines on the frame rail on the passengerside too, follow them to the pump.
im assuming they are on the passengerside, i dont have a 2.8 with a carb, so i dont know offhand which side of the engine the fuel pump is on. but like i said, the fuel lines are on the top of the frame rails on each side of the engine, so find them and go from there.
