I have an 82 TA w a zz430 w a pro flo xt EFI setup. I'm putting an intercooled torque storm supercharger on it. Intercooler will be in front of the radiator and the battery will be relocated to the back where the spare tire was. Curious about what side to put the supercharger on the system comes either way so it's available as pictured below or as a mirror image. W the supercharger on the driver side it can get some fresh air from the 82 hood intake. But it there is more room for an intake on the passenger side.
Thinkin passenger side mount. Air intake to back corner maybe not over the hot exhaust like driver side
Depending on blower outlet clocking, run charge to driver side headlight area if you dont have the charcoal canister anymore. Into cooler then other side up thru battery box to the throttle body. Something like that. Or reversed if it discharges out the left side like the late model silverado kits
not going to have room over rad unless you make a custom lower box to blend into a tpi snorkel intake that can hold boost
Yeah, I was gonna run the IC pipes through the area where the battery and charcoal canister used to be. I'm leaning towards the passenger side but I figured I'd ask. Thanks.
