I went to k@n offical page today..they had this.air/cold air intake set up for like 400 bones..It said dynoed and proved to get up to 33% gains in h.p....1st question what is the truth in this..?
2nd...what does the setup eactually do?push more air in ?

sorry but pulling the flag on this one

there is no way just an air filter and CAI kit would pull in 33% more power unless you aer sucking through a straw that is hooked up to your exhaust manifold to begin with

granted they will give you a little bit of a gain but not that much
the biggest thing I liked about them is with my turbo it helped it to spool a little quicker and when I was N/A it didn't really help peak power but above 5000+ rpms where the car would start to fall off a little the cone filter made the powerband a little flatter up there

 

33% of 200 is 66 hp. That's a cam or head swap. Seems like K&N has some riceboy ad execs.
