I hate to admit it but we built a mustang with a 302 (306 = .030) and forged pistons (TRW's). it had a 2 bolt block, the stock rods, and stock crank, we used ARP bolts through out for some protection and a stud girdle over the blocks 2 bolt mains (popular with the ford crowd, because the blocks are so weak) we ran a 300 hp shot on it all season to the tune of about 500 pounds of nitrous for the whole season. it made over 500 hp and over 700 ft # of TQ at the rear wheels on our dynojet chassis dyno. when we got done the crank was reusable, the rods were too but that ford block had no less than 19 cracks (invisible to the eye) that could have caused us problems but never did! I dont recommend you to duplicate this endevour unless you have research and development money and a curious machinist. but 150 hp, no prob
