Read Maximum Boost by Corky Bell and Turbochargers by Hugh Macaiines. Do a search on this board, you'll find lots of info.

i have been searching but can notreally find much info. What i want to know is with a 400hp motor i am dropping in soon, do turbo charger require any special thngs on the engine, or is it jut hook it up burn a chip then ur ready? Also i know my 10 bolt wil barely hold up to my 400 HP so i there some thing i ave to do to my rear end or should i just go to 12 bolt, if so where can you find one?

Before I can help I really need to know more. First off, whats the compression ratio of your engine? Thats going to help determine how much boost you can run. Is this carbed, TPI, TBI what? When running boost you have to make sure that you have sufficient fuel, otherwise bad things happen. This means you really need to have a good fuel system. I could probably keep going, but I need more info.

Oh yeah, you'll most likely break the 10 bolt if you hook. As far as finding a 12 bolt I think there are ads in the back of car mags for 12 bolts for F-body's.
