Addin Supercharger

I am finishing up an installation of a Paxton Supercharger on my '85 Iroc Z. The original 305 is gone along with intake, exhaust, and drivetrain. The new engine is a 355 with AFR heads and TPIS miniram intake. All emissions controls are gone. The fuel system uses ADS 24lb injectors and a 190LPH in-tank pump. The car is just about ready to go with some minor details to workout(Routing fuel lines, plug wires batery relocation). If anyone can help with the following I would greatly appreciate it....

1. The Paxton kit comes with a breather unit that connects to both valve covers with a hose that runs into the air filter. Do I need this? Can I just use regular breathers on the valve covers?
What is it for?

2. Is the fuel system adequate? What upgrades need to be done?

Thanks

i just have regular filtered breathers on my valve covers. I swapped to a different air filter anyway, and i set it up so i could keep my battery in the stock location. I had my filter below the fender as specified in the instructions, and my maf took a **** the first time i drove in the rain with it.

i'd definitely get an AFPR on the car if you don't have it already, so you can get adequate fuel pressure. I am actually running rich with 22lb injectors, stock chip and 50lbs. of pressure with a stock fuel pump. I recently picked up an Auto X-ray, so i'm gonna tune the thing right, based on the O2 values.

Here's a pic of my install:

Does the Paxton kit come with some type of FMU ?? Unless you can modify the factory ECM calibration with a custom chip, I would think you would need an FMU to boost the fuel pressure relative to the boost pressure. The normal AFPR sold for TPI applications may not have this boost-sensitive enrichment feature.

unfortunately i bought my paxton used, so if there was some sort of FMU, i didn't get it. I don't think there was though. As is, i'm making due with the AFPR and just running rich, especially when not under boost until i get off my *** and do my speed density swap and have a friend start playing around on making a chip for me.
