well it you have a tpi LB9 305 then the vortech kit will fit...... if you have what i have the tbi L03 305 then you need a blower set up.
its pretty dumb to supercharge a stock 305 if you ask me..... cuz a worked non-blown 305 will last longer... sound better.... and blow you away........ now if you work your 305 and then get a supercharger, that is the way to go, trust me.
First modifications should always be exhaust so get headers with a 3" y-pipe and cat and then a nice flowmaster american thunder 3" dual rear exit system........ then i recommend better spark plugs, wires, distributor, coil, igniton box.....then before you start the real power adding make sure you have AT LEAST a slp posi unit with 3.73 gears(u'll need it)....., go with 4.10 if you want but do it after all your mods.....then maybe a polyurethane trans mount (they break all the ****ing time)....then maybe aluminum driveshaft..... then work on your valvetrain, so look into a roller cam, pushrods, roller lifters, roller rockers, better valve springs etc (i reccommend a fully rollerized valvetrain).... then maybe look into new heads and port your intake manifold and feul pump and injectors... some spacers too. bigger feul lines, bigger throttle body and foil and all that ****. ......... and that is about all the basics i can think of off the top of my ****ed up head so remember that they were only basics and once you have all that done and all the neccessary components to go with it........ then talk about gettin a supercharger and do one thing at a time.... dont kill yourself.

Umm...
It can basically only go on, on one side. The driver's side. And as long as it is not up side down I think you should be ok.
