First I would like to say that this board runs awesome.
Its fast, accurate and well moderated.
I just recently came across my "ride for life" and took alot of pictures of it.
I have tried everyday for three days now to post a picture in the Readers Rides section (which is very cool) but every time I try to upload a picture I get a msg box that says:

You may not enter a file with two periods "." side by side!

The file name does not have two periods side by side, I tried to copy it straight from my C: drive and the same thing, I turned off my firewall and still the same thing.
I am unsure of what else I can do to make this work and I would truly appreciate some help on it.

I love this board almost as much as my new GTA and working on it.
Seriously thanks for putting it up and keeping it well maintained, even if I cant get my problem fixed, this is a great place.

Have you tried uploading the pic to another site, like iroczone.com and getting the url for your sig pic?

Lol I know thats what it seems like but I am serious about the site.
I am sure I dont have to tell you how much effort they put into keeping it running smooth, and especially with the level of participation and active involvement from this community, they really do a nice job. I have had to deal with a few server services and they mostly run like crap. So I seriously take my hat off to these guys. Also the quality of the people in this community, the majority of ya'll are great people, communicative and pleasant to deal with (in most cases) This is the first online community I have ever been involved in where I actually like the people.

You can view that as brown nosing if you like, I dont really mind, but I thought you should know what my true feelings are about this place and I am hoping that they see that message and know that there are a few people out there that recognize good work and say so. Have you ever done a nice job and been told so? It makes you feel good right? Thats what I am doing for them.

No actually I did not try that, it felt kind of funny to post a Firebird in a dedicated Camaro site. I did find the problem though, my file name was too long, so I shortened it and it uploaded just fine.
I have some more experimentation to do with the sig but I have not gotten to that just yet.

I'm having the same problem. I wanted to update with some better pictures. I tried to delete the old pictures, but one of them won't go away. Then when trying to upload it says You may not enter a file with two periods "." side by side!

EDIT: hmm, works now
